Books I Have Read 1988

Read in May 1988:
Book of Questions
Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini (good)
Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank (good)
Warday by Whitley Strieber and James Kunetka (good) [interesting how Mr. Strieber went on from this very well-realized "true story" telling the story of a very limited nuclear war through personal recollection and "real documents" to write a highly successful, probably rather lucrative series of "true" books about encounters with aliens]
Choice-Centered Tarot by Gail Fairfield (good) [the only tarot book I really like because it doesn't require believing in any of that prediction stuff; tarot as brainstorming/meditation device]
The Tarot Workbook (good)

Blog (noun) A weblog or similar brief journal usually containing links and commentary thereon. Term coined by Peter Merholz.

Visit Typepad or Blogger to start your own. (I began with hand coding, then switched to Blogger when it first became available, then to Movable Type when I wanted more control over my weblog and to have it hosted at a place of my choosing (Hurricane Electric). Since 06/2003 I've used Typepad, a hosted service built by the same folks who made Movable Type, which I love because I don't have to maintain the underlying system).
